Valeriy Chkalov (1904 - 1938) was a famous soviet pilot-tester who was a first made a flight From Moscow to Vancouver through the North Pole without stops. He was died in accident in testing of palne I-180. Cigarette case was made in USSR in 1940th-1950th. Good condition.
Soviet Period Award Cigarette Case. Very nice sample of soviet prewar contemporary art in industrial style. It has an USSR big inscriprion and red star on a front side and award inscription on a back side - To comrade Rykalov K.N. who win a main prize on 36th shooting contest (nagant shooting) in Zaporozhskaja oblast, dated 1932. Brass silver-plated. Good condition.
WWII russian case for a matchbox. It has an image of a Cremlin with the flying planes. Material - nicklesilver. Stamped - "Alpakk. Melhior". Good condition. No damages.
